The First BIPV Project with Colorful Thin-film Module of China passed National Acceptance Check

(China Glass Network) News release from Baoding TianWei SolarFilms Co.,Ltd, the first colorful thin-film module project of China – TianWei thin-film BIPV project have passed national acceptance check.

With the development of new energy and growing demand of energy conservation and emission reduction, BIPV has become the new application trend of solar power generation.

The BIPV project of TianWei includes installation area of the south PV façade curtain wall, exhibition hall and carport. Total installation amount of the project is 119.52 KW, with 1428 pieces of thin film moulds covering an area of 2042.04 square meters. Test data shows that final passed yield of the thin film module products is up to 99%, actual light transmittance is 20% and firm power is more than 70 Watt, achieving leading level of the global market. After construction, electric energy production of the system in the first year will be 142482.6 KWH, saving standard coal consumption of 57.8 tons.

The whole PV power generation system will transfer the direct current into alternating voltage of 380 v / 50HZ via inverter and merge it into internal power grid of the company, to realize immediate use.
