Guardian Auto Glass announced today that it has acquired Good Shepherd Auto Glass of Edgewood, Md. The acquisition comes as part of a partnership with three of Good Shepherd's owners along with the addition of a fourth partner and the formation of a new company: Guardian Auto Glass Baltimore, LLC (GAGB).

Matthew Eder, spokesperson for Guardian Auto Glass, was able to confirm that the acquisition is a purchase of Good Shepherd's assets by the newly formed GAGB.

According to a release issued by Guardian, current owners Donald Creek, Jr., Tony Day and Steven Everhart along with a fourth partner Kevin Brown will be equity owners and managing partners for the new Baltimore location.

"The combination of Good Shepherd's strong commercial base and Kevin's insurance experience present a unique opportunity for us to expedite our expansion in Baltimore," says Marc Talbert, vice president and managing partner of Guardian Auto Glass, LLC.

"The opportunity to partner with Guardian Auto Glass was very attractive to us because it allows us to maintain an ownership stake in the business we've built from the ground up while also providing the backing of a large company that is affiliated with an OEM manufacturer," says Day, vice president and managing partner for GAGB and former partner for Good Shepherd. "...We felt this was the best way to continue building our business."

Creek, Day and Everhart formed Good Shepherd in 2005, focusing largely on commercial auto glass. Brown brings 14 years of experience in sales and sales management from two Baltimore and D.C.-area companies, in addition to being a nationally certified continuing education instructor.
