UNITED KINGDOM - British Glass Announces Pablo Isasmendi as 2013 President

British Glass announced Pablo Isasmendi, managing director of Guardian Industries U.K. glass division, is its 2013 president. Beginning January 2013, Isasmendi will focus on increasing the presence of the flat glass manufacturers within British Glass and to continue to work closely with the organization to help ensure the glass industry is kept up to date on potential changes in regulations and legislation. 

Isasmendi has been in the glass industry for more than 20 years, and was part of the original team that built and commissioned Guardian's float glass line in Tudela, Spain. Isasmendi moved to the U.K. in 2006 to manage engineering and maintenance at Guardian U.K., becoming managing director of the glass division in 2007.
