Safelite AutoGlass has appointed three new managers in the California market.

In Los Angeles, William Pierce has been promoted to general manager (GM) after Drew Carter, the previous GM, retired following more than 41 years with Safelite. Safelite officials credit Carter as a key player in the company's southern California expansion over the past three years which includes four Los Angeles-area shops.

"Drew is a legend in our industry, and his impact will be felt by generations of auto glass professionals to come," says Clayton Frech, Safelite's California division manager. "Most managers in the region have been affected and impressed by his knowledge and loyalty to the company and his associates. We wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement and thank him for his service to Safelite AutoGlass."

Pierce has been able to train under Carter for the past year before taking the position. He previously managed the southern Los Angeles market for Safelite. He was hired in 2011.

Frank Primer was also recently appointed GM for the San Francisco/Oakland area after relocating from Sacramento where he previously served as GM for Safelite's Sacramento market for five years. Mandy Seeley, former warehouse supervisor and service manager for Safelite, has been promoted to fill the Sacramento GM position.

"All three of these individuals have shown a commitment to Safelite's customers and their peers while driving business results," says Frech. "We are pleased to see leadership like theirs be rewarded."
