Crystal Windows’ HR Manager Named a “Rising Star”

Isabella Leung, human resources department manager for Crystal Window and Door Systems in Flushing, N.Y., was one of several individuals to recently receive the Queens “Rising Star” Award. The award recognizes outstanding young leaders under 40 from the business, non-profit and government sectors of age whose efforts are having a positive impact on the economy and quality of life in Queens, N.Y.

Leung is responsible for compensation, benefits, hiring, training and compliance issues for more than 300 employees at Crystal’s New York headquarters and factory. She also provides guidance for its affiliated manufacturing and sales offices in other regions of the country. In addition to customary programs associated with human resources, she has introduced a broad array of initiatives to enhance employment and manage costs more efficiently. She also assists in providing management direction to the company’s accounting operations.
