Southern Wholesale Glass Recognized at Manufacturers of the Year Luncheon

Southern Wholesale Glass employees at the Governor's Award Luncheon

Southern Wholesale Glass, Americus, Ga., was recently recognized at the Manufacturers of the Year Governor’s Award Luncheon, held in Atlanta during Georgia Manufacturing Appreciation Week. The glass fabricator was nominated as a Small Manufacturer of the Year for 2013, an award given to manufacturers with 150 employees or less by South Georgia Technical College.

Southern Wholesale Glass is a manufacturer of IG units and tempered safety glass, and employs 27 local residents. The company supports the local community by purchasing goods and services locally, and participating in and partnering with local organizations, according to a release.
