**ASAHI GLASS FALLS AFTER REPORT OF POOR Q1 PROFIT**

Asahi Glass Co Ltd dropped 2.5 percent to a one-week low of 740 yen after the Nikkei business daily said the glassmaker's operating profit for the January-March quarter likely fell 20 percent from a year earlier to about 20 billion yen ($205 million), hurt by weak sales in Europe.
