Shahe Glass Industries' Transformation and Upgrading

Currently, there are 47 glass enterprises in Hebei Shahe Economic Development Zone; 4000 processing enterprises; 34 qualified float glass lines; 33 rolled glass lines; total capacity is 140 million weight cases, which takes up 20 percent in flat glass. Sales volume is 39 billion Yuan and financial income is 1.15 billion Yuan.

In processing, Shahe sticks to energy-saving and carbon emission reduction; promote enterprise transmission and upgrading, and achieve sustainable development.

Shahe closed some old and slow glass line and glaverbel glass lines with 100 ton capacity per day. Totally it was 202 lines. It improved city brand and taste and upgraded people’ living level.
