Neptun is satisfied with the results achieved in 2012.

 

Revenue growth, expansion of the range of products available for sale, losses halved compared to a sharp increase in investment, sales and service network established in major world markets.

 

All of these objectives have been achieved thanks to a professional team, which is focused on results.

 

Neptun starts the year 2012 with the launch of a world exclusive innovation, a straight-line edger protected by several patents, which – thanks to the system ETS (Edge To Shape), allows to square the glass and take it to size. The straight-line edger “Rock  thus goes beyond the idea of the traditional machine and evolves into a real numerical control.

 

The success of this application has been immediately remarkable and in less than one year customers from all over the world have expressed their preference for this product.

 

In October, at the show Glasstec, the evolution of the system ETS has been presented, which allows Rock not only to square, but also to make out-of-square processing, for special requirements and shower boxes.

 

The year 2012 has been positive also for the sales of the vertical CNC. Leading companies from the glass industry have purchased our lines, despite strong competition in the market.

 

At the same time, the expansion of the world market share of the traditional production of high-end horizontal and vertical washing machines continues.

 

The product range has been expanded with the introduction, at the end of the year, of the new mitering machine Rock 10-45.

 

Neptun continues to invest 12% of its turnover in research and development, consolidating the development and innovation strategy at the base of the entrepreneurial project of Stefano Bavelloni and Matteo Rolla.

 

A brave attitude, in contrast to the global macroeconomic data and the cautious behavior of many companies in the sector, caused by the current international crisis.

 

To date Neptun is present in over 50 countries guaranteeing a timely delivery of spare parts and after sales service.

 

As a result of this aggressive strategy of product innovation and diversification in commercial areas, revenue shows an increase of over 60% compared to 2011 and puts the property in a position to make even more ambitious choices in 2013.

 

The profits are still suffering the costs incurred for the start-up of the strategic plan and investments in R & D, but this is an economic fact that the property can handle thanks to the availability of financial resources of their own.
