The Glass Association of North America (GANA) announced its Eastern Canada Roundtable is scheduled to take place on November 8, 2013, at the Hilton Garden Inn Airport hotel in Toronto.
“This roundtable will be an excellent occasion for members of the industry to bring together their views on the future of the glass industry in the Canadian territory,” says GANA board member Nathalie Thibault of Prelco Inc. “It’s by joining our forces that we will be capable of having a proper look at the reality of our industry. All members of the supply chain are welcome to participate and share their concerns and ideas.”
Marc Deschamps of Walker Glass Co. Ltd., also a GANA board member, adds, “The GANA roundtable events are always a great opportunity to network and discuss the most current issues and challenges in the glass industry. I am looking forward to meeting our GANA members and more particularly those from Eastern Canada.”
Registration for the event is $95 for GANA members, and $200 for non-members. In addition to updates by GANA, presentations will be given that are of regional interest. The meeting also includes an open session where all attendees drive the conversation. During this time, three to five topics will be selected to discuss in the open forum. Topics will be selected from ideas submitted by all attendees, approximately two weeks prior to the event.
