This colorful kitchen is made out of 30 million glass beads

This isn't a painting — it's an actual room you can walk around in. (Though you probably shouldn't.) Artist Liza Lou creates all kinds of things with tiny glass beads, and this is her most famous installation: "Kitchen." Lou hand-glued about 30 million beads to cabinets, floor tiles, a table, chairs, everything you'd expect to find in a kitchen, all with a pair of tweezers.
