(China Glass Network) Fuyao Glass set up plant in Russia; first stage one million auto safety glass project stated into production successfully.
The prpject opened in June, 2011; total investment is 200 million dollars; totally composed of two stages. Designed capacity is two millions auto safety glass. It is the core project invested by China government in Russia, which could supply one thousand jobs.
Chairman of Fuyao Glass, Cao Dewang said that the investment in Russia is little. We decided to build plant based on long-time research. Fuyao Glass is the main glass supplier of Russia automobile market.
