Attendees representing glass and related industries voted Guardian’s Booth “Best in Show” among large exhibitors at the GlassBuild America expo September 10-12 in Atlanta.

Now in its 11th year, GlassBuild America is the premier event for the glass, window and door industries in North America. This year’s show had nearly 6,000 attendees and more than 350 exhibiting companies. Attendees were able to vote for their favorite booths during the first two days of the show.

“Our goal is always to create a display area that is both inviting and informational,” said Chris Dolan, director, Commercial Glass Marketing, Guardian Industries. “We use great design to attract attendees, and our new products and services to keep them engaged. We are honored once again to be recognized by our customers and colleagues.”

This is the third year Guardian has received Best in Show.

Guardian’s 2013 exhibit focused on showcasing the company’s industry-leading innovations in high performance commercial, residential and interior glass products as well as its enhanced customer service programs.

Guardian Industries launched two residential glass products at the show that will help window manufacturers meet and exceed energy standards across North America. ClimaGuard 72/57 was created for northern climates to take advantage of the sun’s natural light and heat. This product has an uncommonly low U-factor, a neutral color for outstanding aesthetics and a high visible light transmission. Guardian ClimaGuard 53/23 was designed for southern climates and provides unmatched solar protection while maintaining light transmission and crisp views. This triple silver low-E product has a super-low solar heat gain coefficient.

Guardian also featured its newest advanced architectural glass products, SunGuard Neutral 78/65 designed for heating-dominated climates and SunGuard SNX 52/23, a triple silver Low-E product that delivers an unprecedented combination of light transmission and low solar heat gain coefficient with a neutral, blue appearance.

Guardian’s technical team demonstrated Guardian’s web-based BIM Generator – the first tool that populates BIM content with manufacturer data for thermal and optical performances of custom project specific customer IG makeups.

The Guardian InGlass area featured its portfolio of advanced interior glass products, including Guardian Reveal, a product that delivers both transparency and privacy with the flick of a switch. Guardian also featured its expanded dealer program, with new tools and incentives to help dealers and glass shops grow their business.

GlassBuild America is organized by the National Glass Association, along with partner organizations American Architectural Manufacturers Association, Glass Association of North America, Insulating Glass Manufactures Alliance and the Bath Enclosures Manufacturers Association.

Guardian’s GlassBuild America booth was designed under the direction of interior designer Tom Condon, with design support, production and installation provided by Xibitz, both of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
