Local shop teaches how to make glass ornaments

(WBIR) With Christmas just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about decorating Christmas trees.

One local business can help you create a one-of-a-kind ornament.

Marble City Glassworks kicks off their "Blow Your Own Ornament" class Friday night.

A professional will help make the glass ornament while you pick the colors and design.

The ornaments start as melted glass, color is added, and then the ornament is shaped by blowing into a metal tube.

Classes are offered several times in the next two months.
