Portland's Design Commission voted 5-1 to approve plans for a large glass Apple retail store to replace the shuttered Saks Fifth Ave. location at Pioneer Square, according to a July 20 Apple Insider report. Apple plans to buiild a 165-foot-long, above-ground glass structure.
