Based on the approved application for a grant as part of the Human Resources and Employment Operational Programme, VETROPACK MORAVIA GLASS, akciová společnost (joint-stock company), held 15 training activities under the "Professional Glassmaker Training - preparation for the utilisation of new technologies" project which were financed by the ESF through the Human Resources and Employment Operational Programme and the State Budget of the Czech Republic.The training focused on gaining or perfecting expertise and skills for using new equipment and technologies specific for glassmaking such as: construction of moulds in CAD NX6 and new version of CAD NX7 software use of the new iAFIS information and communication system use of the new Siemens PC37 control system operation and maintenance of IMAJE printing equipment use of the SIMATIC control system for folio sheeting equipment and palletisers use and maintenance of FESTO pneumatic elements (packing, transport and control equipment in cold operation) use and maintenance of SEW and DAMFOS frequency convertors use of control systems and mechanism alignment on Emhart machinesA total of 298 employees took part in the training. Some of the employees also participated in several training activities therefore the total number of people who completed the training was 427. The training activities lasted a total of 3 185 hours, which means 424 man hours. The total costs of this project were almost 1 869 000 CZK and these will be financed from the ESF through the Human Resources and Employment Operational Programme and the State Budget of the Czech Republic. This project contributed towards enhancing our employees´ qualifications, so key specialised employees gained irreplaceable experience which will help us to increase our competitiveness. 04.06.2012, VETROPACK MORAVIA GLASS/vetropack.cz
