National Special Glass Quality Inspection Center to Build

Recently, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine formally approved to build Bengbu National Special Glass Quality Inspection Center, which indicated that the pace of building National Special Glass Quality Inspection Center improved a lot.Document said that, approving to build National Special Glass Quality Inspection Center based on Bengbu City Product Quality Supervision and Testing Center. And it asked to finish preparation of building in eighteen days. It will be approved to establish after passing laboratory accreditation and accreditation review.It is said that it is invested by Bengbu Municipal Government. It is planned to cover an area of 26460 square meters and composed of two stages. First stage was finished in Oct. 2011 with an area of 23000 square meters. After building, nearly thirty seven kinds of glass will be inspected, such as: ultra-thin glass used in LCD, auto safety glass, tempered glass, laminated glass, etc. Second stage project is planning, and it will focus on PV glass according to the development requirement of special glass.After establishment, it will offer product quality testing, R & D of detection technology, and amend standards, and technical services for all the special glass enterprises. 08.08.2012, glassinchina.com
