See what innovations Guardian is bringing to GlassBuild.

“Guardian’s product and service launches in 2013 illustrate the important connection between our customers’ needs, energy code changes and cutting-edge work from our Science and Technology Center,” said Bill Widmann, Guardian vice president of sales & marketing for North American Flat Glass. “GlassBuild America is the perfect venue to showcase these innovations to our customers and industry partners.”

Guardian ClimaGuard leads the way in residential glass innovation that enables window manufacturers to exceed energy standards while providing an optimal view, comfort, safety and security to a home. Visitors will get their first look at two products that give customers a competitive advantage – one designed to provide unmatched solar protection while maintaining light transmission and crisp view-ability in a southern climate zone; the second, a product for northern climates that will allow many window systems to meet the new Energy Star v6 criteria without major redesign.

From the SunGuard family of commercial glass products, Guardian will feature its newest advanced architectural glass, SunGuard Neutral 78/65 designed for heating-dominated climates. SunGuard Neutral 78/65 offers high visible light, a high solar heat gain and a neutral color. Because SunGuard Neutral 78/65 lets the heat in, and keeps it in, the product is ideal for commercial applications in cooler climates where passive heat gain is desired.

Guardian will also preview SunGuard SNX 52/23, the next generation in triple silver coatings with an unprecedented combination of light transmission and low solar heat gain coefficient with a neutral, blue appearance.

Guardian’s technical team will also be on site offering demonstrations of the company’s new web-based BIM Generator-- the first tool that populates BIM content with manufacturer data for thermal and optical performances of custom project specific customer IG makeups. The BIM Generator is available at sunguardglass.com.

Guardian InGlass, a portfolio of advanced interior glass products, will show many of its interior products including Guardian Reveal and Berman Glass editions. This year, Guardian is featuring its expanded dealer program, with new tools and incentives to help dealers and glass shops grow their business.

“We’re excited to welcome registered dealers, as well as those who might be interested to learn more about the program, to the booth to see what makes our dealer program the best in the business,” said Diane Turnwall, Guardian’s market segment director for Interiors.

Also being introduced is the first-of-its-kind Glass Wizard, a new tool to help any user of interior glass, including interior designers, OEMs and glaziers, to find the interior glass options that meet their functional as well as performance requirements. This combined with the InGlass Supply network makes using Guardian InGlass products easier than ever.

In addition to its range of products in booth 2123, Guardian is excited to be a sponsor of the Architect’s Forum September 11 as part of GlassBuild America. The National Glass Association’s Architect's Forum will bring together cutting-edge designers and industry professionals for an intensive one-day continuing education program on the design, fabrication, and construction of high performance architectural and decorative glass. Highlights include a keynote address by architect Neil Denari, one of the leading figures in L.A.'s dynamic design scene. Chris Dolan, Guardian’s ‎director of Commercial Glass Products and Jay Phillips, Guardian’s national architectural sales director, will both participate in panel discussions during the Forum.
