Solar energy was the talk in Toledo today where the mayor promised a new solar plant will bring in more than a hundred new jobs and $50 million of investment!
A new company called Buckeye Silicon will invest $50 million in Toledo by the end of next year for a manufacturing facility. The city will provide tax incentives.
The plant will produce hundreds of thousands of pounds of polysilicone used to make solar panels, according to a June 23 ABC report.
