SOLARBAN 60 glass by PPG helps Legg Mason Tower earn LEED Silver certification

Legg Mason Tower in Baltimore, the 650,000-square-foot headquarters for one of the country’s largest investment firms, earned LEED® Silver certification, due in part to the expansive use of SOLARBAN® 60 glass by PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) on the building envelope.Solarban 60 glass has visible light transmittance (VLT) of 70 percent, which works with the building’s open offices and interior glass walls to enable natural sunlight to flood workspaces.
