Bohle opens subsidiary in US

Bohle Group, an European manufacturer and supplier of tools, machines and accessories for glass processing and finishing, has opened a North American subsidiary, according to a company release. Bohle America Inc., based in Charlotte, N.C., is Bohle Group's 14th location worldwide. Until now, the export department in Germanyservedcustomers in North America and wholesalers on location distributed products to those customers.

"One of our basic principles that we have long been pursuing is: Bohle is wherever the customer needs us," said Arne Klöfkorn, commercial director of Bohle AG and president of Bohle America Inc., in the release."The USA is one of our largest markets overseas. We have taken this step to be closer to existing customers and, of course, to win new customers."
