Distribution Continues to Expand Throughout North America
Intermac America, the leading manufacturer of glass and stone fabrication equipment and Biesse S.p.A. subsidiary, has signed an agreement with Salem Distributing Company to represent Intermac’s glass machinery products throughout North America.
Salem has served the Flat Glass and Mirror market for over 70 years as a major supplier of equipment and supplies. The company markets beveling and edging machines, as well as complete silvering and laminating lines, straight line and shape edgers, waste water treatment systems, sandblasting units and washing machines. Intermac manufactures, sells and services CNC work centers, cutting tables and glass handling machinery, double edgers and drilling machines. Under the new agreement, Intermac’s Service Department will install all Intermac machinery and directly provide technical support, parts and service to Salem customers with Intermac products. Both Intermac and Salem noticed that their glass machinery portfolio complemented against each other well, and in fact the Intermac sales force will sell Salem machinery
lines to Intermac accounts.
