30th Anniversary of Ashton Industrial

Time flies when you’re having fun! So the saying goes and yes, it really is 30 years since Ashton Industrial started trading, from the early days of importing quality German machinery and materials, then into the initial design and manufacturing years when we were totally specialised in Insulating Glass machinery. And juggling with swings between Deutschemarks, Pounds, Francs and Schillings in that pre-Euro era too.    

It wasn’t all fun of course, a lot of hard work and honest sweat was called for and as much as we fondly recall our history, the sweet successes, the euphoria of seeing groundbreaking ideas and designs transformed into reality, there have been tough times liberally mixed in with the good.

That’s where professionalism and an efficient, hardworking and loyal team shine through. Many competitors here and abroad have suffered bankruptcy or severe downsizing in the same period. Our focus on innovative designs for new machinery tailored to meet actual customer requests and needs, has seen us weather all the storms to bring us to this Champagne Day.

Today, ASHTON INDUSTRIAL is recognised within the flat glass industry as the undisputed worldwide leader in high speed fully automatic arrissing (seaming) lines, and the latest robotic line which arrisses random shapes with no pre-programming or data transfer is a perfect example.
