Grand entrance for Mace Group

Glass and glazing specialist GLASSOLUTIONS has installed a new glazed entrance as part of Mace Group’s sustainable refurbishment of its new global headquarters at 155 Moorgate in London.     

The project involved the replacement of the existing 11 metre wide x 7.5 metre high entrance area with a new glazed lobby with white spandrel panels and two pairs of sliding automatic doors to comply with Part M and K of the Building Regulations.  The two existing columns either side of the entrance door have also been re-clad in bead blasted stainless steel cladding panels. The surrounding stainless steel cladding is a bespoke design developed by the GLASSOLUTIONS and Mace design team; the cladding provides a stylish and distinctive appearance bringing the facade to life.
