Nippon Electric Glass Succeeds in Increasing Width and Further Reducing Thickness of Extremely Thin "Glass-ribbon"

Nippon Eletric Glass Co.Ltd.(head office: Otsu, Shira, Japan: President: Masayuki Arioka (NEG) has succeeded in increasing with (up po 20 mm) and further reducing thicness (down to 4 um) of Glass-ribbon (ribbon-like extremely thin glass), achieving the widest and thinnest Glass-ribbon in the world. NEG will exibit these Glass-ribbon at Lighting Japan 2013 to be held from January 16, 2013 at Tokyo Big Sight.
