Trainor Glass Co., which ceased operations in February, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in U.S.Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois on March 9. Officials from the contract glazier notified employees by Feb. 21 that the company was immediately closing all locations and laying off all staff.
