Taiwan Glass to kick off mass production of low-E glass in Q1

Officials at Taiwan Glass Ind. Corp., Taiwan, recently announcedthe kick-off of mass production of low-E glass at different production sites, including one in Taicang (Jiangsu Province) and another in Chengdu (Sichuan Province), China, in the first quarter.

In 2011, Taiwan Glass` total production capacity for low-E glass is expected to grow six times to about 36 million square meters from about 5 million square meters now, according to a January CENS.com report.
