With a new CEO in place and the backing of a large international parent, Columbus-based Belron US Inc. is planning to double in size over the next five years, according to a July 18 Columbus Business First report.The auto glass maker and installer, formerly Safelite Group Inc., has a blueprint to reach its goal, and company officials say they are in negotiations to acquire several competitors. The company closed this month on a $50 million deal to buy Kingston, Pa.-based Diamond Triumph Auto Glass Inc.
