Schiatti Angelo SRL will feature at VITRUM 2013 its newly improved SME 10 straight grinding machine.

 



The machine grinds and polishes flat edges, accommodating glass lites 3 millimeters to 30 mm thick, in sizes up to 80 mm by 80 mm. Its diamond wheels have independent settings to differentiate the glass removal, and the polishing wheels are fully automatic. A PLC touchscreen controls all machine functions and displays the working parameters. Schiatti offers several options that allow customers to custom-design the SME 10 to meet specifications, including 1-meter extensions in input/output and height, a dubbing device, and minimal workable dimensions of 50 mm by 100 mm.
