The glass factory at Bhadaninagar (Bhurkunda) seems to be on track to regain its lost glory. Once considered Asia's foremost glass producer, the factory downed its shutters because of losses some years ago.
About 1000 workers who have been unemployed for more than two years now are also hopeful about a new beginning.
"With the help of workers and local people, the factory can once again regain its golden past. I wanted to help factory workers who were facing a lot of hardships," said factory's new chairman Vijay Joshi.
