PPG to Invest $60 Million in New Manufacturing Facility in Lipetsk, Russia

PPG Industries has announced plans to invest $60 million in a new manufacturing facility and commercial operation for its coatings businesses in the Lipetsk region of Russia. The company anticipates completion of the project in the second half of 2015.

The new facility is expected to employ more than 150 people and manufacture a wide variety of industrial and performance coatings.

“We are delighted to expand our operations and commitment in Russia,” says Jens Brackebusch, PPG general manager, Russia. “We appreciate the ongoing loyalty of our Russian customers and are excited about this opportunity, which will allow us to grow with them.”
