Upcoming Glazing Class

A foundation level course focused on the fundamentals of the architectural and commercial glazing industry. The course is taught in a classroom setting covering a variety of topics: First Aid and Workplace Safety; History and Types of Glass; Glass Handling Techniques; Storefront, Curtain wall, and the differences between the two; Doors and Entrances; Sealants; and Trade Mathematics. At the conclusion of the course attendees will complete an exam. Upon verification of a passing grade, an NGA certificate of completion and a shoulder-patch will be presented to the individual recognizing their achievement. Successful participants will also be recognized by the NGA and the Texas Glass association through a newsletter, and each organization’s website.
