Establishment of Subsidiary Processing Glass for Flat Panel Displays in China Response to Increased Demand in Chinese Market

Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd.(head office: Otsu, Shiga, Japan, President: Masayuki Arioka, "NEG")has established a wholly owned subsidiary, Electric Glass (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.     
("Electric Glass (Guangzhou)") in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China, to process and sell glass for flat panel displays FPDs. A joint groundbreaking ceremony involving companies operating at the same site will be held today.
