Tempered glass manufacturer coming to Hampton

LAURA BIRD/The Globe Gazette, Catalina Tempering of Los Angeles, a subsidiary of Glasswerks Inc., is opening a location in the former Winnebago Industries building in Hampton.

HAMPTON — A Los Angeles, Calif., company involved in glass tempering is coming to Franklin County. 

The Franklin County Development Association announced Thursday that Catalina Tempering of Los Angeles, a subsidiary of Glasswerks Inc., is expanding its operations into the former Winnebago Industries building in Hampton. 

In a news release, FCDA Executive Director Karen Mitchell confirmed the company has purchased the building and will be taking the next few months to set up operations.
