EPA Looks at Energy Star Commercial Buildings Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) currently is conducting a survey to help it “evaluate and develop a new Energy Star recognition for commercial buildings.”

“We are looking to you, our stakeholders, to help us design a recognition that your organization will value, and that will motivate you to pursue energy-efficient building operations,” writes the EPA in a reminder issued to Energy Star stakeholders to take a

The survey questions address the Energy Star Portfolio Manager, an interactive energy management tool designed to track and assess energy and water consumption across a portfolio of buildings; and use of the Energy Star certification recognition.

The survey response period runs through Thursday, April 25.
