THE construction and renovation of the defunct Kapiri Glass factory scheduled to be completed next year has commenced in Kapiri Mposhi.
Kapiri Glass Manufacturing (KGM) chairman Costain Chilala says the contractor has been paid and the project will take about 16 months to finish.
Recently, KGM signed a K40 billion (US$8 million) loan agreement with the PTA Bank to revive the plant, which is expected to create over 400 jobs.
