At Glasstec 2012 – slated for 23 - 26 October 2012 in Düsseldorf – the extent of Italy’s traditional participation will stand out once again: a total of 15,000 square meters and 56 companies (46 for flat glass and 10 for hollow glass), in Pavilion 13 and 16 set aside for Made in Italy. Gimav – Italian Association of Glass Processing Machinery and Accessories Suppliers - representing more than 70% of Italian flat and hollow glass companies, will be coordinating this group participation by its members.
The Glasstec exhibition is known to feature exhibitors with high-tech offerings and is the natural stage for Italian companies. The Italian sector of machinery and accessories for glass processing,as part of the broader mechanical tools sector, has always held a leading position worldwide.Italian-designed machinery is recognized and appreciated across the globe and rises above international competition because of the perfect combination of innovation in technology, quality products and prompt technical servicing.
As Gimav’s Director Renata Gaffo confirmed: “The exhibition, a must-attend event for those working in the glass circuit, is an important opportunity to find out where the sector is headed over the coming months, and to find out in the very heart of Europe what potential our crisis-riddencontinent can offer this particular industrial sector. Furthermore, precisely because of its international reach, Glasstec is a way for companies to build valuable business contacts in markets with the highest potential.”
