The Canadian government plans to put a glass dome on a temporary home for the House of Commons as the renovation of Parliament buildings drags on.
While the dome is estimated to cost $42 million, experts told Canadian Broadcasting Corp. costs are likely to go much higher, possibly as much as $100 million. Opposition legislators suggested the same, according to a Feb. 19 UPI report.
