MUMBAI: The BEST will introduce toughened and laminated safety glass to repair broken panes in air-conditioned King Long buses. It has 270 King Longs running on fast track routes in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.
The proposal was cleared at the BEST committee meeting on Monday amidst a heated discussion wherein Shiv Sena member Sanjay Potnis raised objections on the new proposal.
