Viking Longships Set Sail

Marking a landmark year of innovation and expansion, Viking River Cruises, the world’s leading river cruise line, yesterday proudly christened the first four of its new Viking Longships at a spectacular event in Amsterdam.



LC SmartGlass was recently installed on the new state of the art Freya & Idun Ships, two of four longship class-vessels launched as part of Vikings expansion program.

LC SmartGlass was used within each room on the ships to separate bedroom from bathroom creating a bright, spacious interior.
