PPG to host special Innovation Week exhibit during ECOAT 2012 conference

Event set for April 11-12 at Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando


PITTSBURGH, March 27, 2012 – PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) will host a special two-day exhibit during ECOAT 2012, the Electrocoat Conference, in Orlando. The PPG event will be held April 11-12 at the Rosen Centre Hotel, host site for ECOAT 2012.

Themed “PPG Innovation Week at ECOAT 2012,” the exhibit will feature advanced PPG coating technologies such as electrocoat (e-coat), pretreatment, liquid, powder and military coatings in a single, central location. PPG will have nearly 20 coatings experts and innovators available over the two days to answer questions and address specific challenges or concerns related to customers’ coatings operations.

PPG guests also will have the opportunity to browse tabletop displays and network with equipment vendors and coatings applicators. Exhibit hours are 5:30-11 p.m. on April 11 and 4:30-11 p.m. on April 12. There is no charge to attend, but advanced registration is required at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3VFPXRF.

ECOAT 2012, sponsored by the Electrocoat Association, is an educational conference for people involved in the electrocoat business and those interested in learning more about it. The two-day slate of speeches, panel discussions and interactive workshops will include six PPG speakers and two PPG moderators/panel members.
