Post Time:Mar 26,2012Classify:Industry NewsView:144

As FrameXpress makes the transition to incorporate aluminium as a mainstream item into its portfolio of products, the company has already made considerable headway as a supplier. Recently the leading window, door and conservatory fabricator was contracted to supply all the windows in a major new project for one of the UK’s leading waste disposal and management companies.

The state of the art facility has been designed as a prototype for the company and once completed intends to economically alter the way waste is destroyed at many of its sites. If successful this will mean that more than 80% of waste collected will be ecologically removed. As such there has been meticulous attention to detail in the design of the new, ecologically friendly waste disposal site. The contract for frameXpress is the first of its kind within the commercial sector for the company with more than 60 windows having been manufactured for the new waste facility that is currently under construction.

Senior management at frameXpress consider that aluminium offers a combination of unique and attractive properties for installers. Whilst it is low in weight it provides high strength and excellent resistance to corrosion. In relation to environmental friendliness aluminium offers superb thermal and electrical conductivity and does not become brittle in low temperatures but instead grows stronger. The frameXpress range of aluminium windows and doors including bi-folds is extensive and comes in a broad range of beautiful colours that are available in a variety of slim, durable finishes. Ian Davis, Sales Manager at frameXpress comments, ‘The malleability of aluminium makes it perfect for extrusion.

As it is so strong, aluminium windows and doors offer a high protection factor along with exceptional durability. “For contemporary projects, aluminium really does seem to be the product of choice for many installers, particularly as it offers a unique aesthetic to the overall appearance of a modern property. Ian Davis concludes, “Diversification is essential to succeed in today’s market and the aluminium option is proving popular in both the domestic and commercial sectors of the industry. This latest project for the commercial sector really has established frameXpress as a company with vision that can and will provide the right solution for all sized projects.”
