Diedorf, February 2012 – Grafotec Spray Systems GmbH is recruiting new personnel on the assembly line to keep up with ever increasing demands. The Bavarian company is a manufacturer of systems for separating agent application in the glass industry. In doing so, Grafotec already protects float and flat glass during the manufacturing process by applying powder or liquid separating agent, for instance during automotive glass production, thereby preserving the glass from damage during transit.
Grafotec reported increasing sales figures as early as mid-2011. The impetus for the growth comes from export to Brazil and India. In order to cope with the lasting trend, the company has now increased its workforce by almost 30%. "The recruitments mainly involve the assembly line, since the tight scheduling places us under great pressure there", the Managing Director, Reinhold Senft explains.
It was not just the time pressure that forced the company to rapidly act. The industrial buildings were no longer adequate either. The Bavarian manufacturer has therefore rented new assembly shops in the vicinity at short notice. "These measures are however not only designed to meet the increased order situation. With qualified and motivated employees, we anticipate a further increase in turnover for 2012".
Grafotec Spray Systems GmbH already announced in January that it would be represented at the Glasstec 2012 in October with interesting innovations.
