The new bridge is a spectacular 21 m. long structure, made of glass and steel connecting the two buildings in Champalimaud Research Ctr. in Lisbon, Portugal. Envelope, balustrade and deck are made entirely of glass.
The need for non-slipping security on floor has been solved with nonslip certifyed Incus-S glass from Sevasa´s CriSamar ® STEP line.
Incus-S is certified by the UNE ENV 12633, DIN 51130, UL 410 and ASTM C 1028 standards and tests. With a certified surface hardness of scale 5 in MOHS, unique in the market, this walkable highly resistant to scratches glass ensures maximum durability.
Each deck piece is low-iron heat-strengthened glass, measuring 1900 x 2150 x 52 mm thick and is composed of 5 multilaminate layers, being CriSamar® STEP_Incus-S 10 mm the anti-slip top surface glass.
