CLFG received an award from All-China Federation of Trade Unions

Recently, China Luoyang Float Glass Group Co., Ltd (CLFG) has been awarded the Best Organization in Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction by All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU).

CLFG carried out activities of getting rational proposals from staff and saving energy and got a pronounced effect. In 2007, all staff gave more than 2,300 rational proposals, 74 of which have been put in force, creating an economic benefit over 20 million yuan.

Besides, CLFG Longfei Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CLFG, put forth the program to improve the oil and gas mixed combustion technology. In the glass production, CLFG Longfei Co., Ltd. used up vast amount of heat energy, which not only wasted energy resources but also polluted the environment. Hence, all the staff gave suggestions to replace some fuel oil with city gas and apply the oil and gas mixed combustion technology in to the production of high-grade float glass. It has succeeded, saving 14,150.4 tons of fuel oil and reducing 3.73 million yuan of cost every year. The reform of oil and gas mixed combustion technology was also awarded by All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) as “Excellent Rational Proposal in Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction”.
