Besana Lovati Appoints New Sales Staff, Announces Acquisition

Besana Lovati Inc. recently appointed Dio Guerra as national sales manager, and Hal Strait as a sales agent for Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin, according to an Oct. 31 company release. Guerra, who has more than 28 years experience in the glass fabricating industry, will be responsible for all sales activities in North America. Strait has more than 30 years experience in the glass industry in engineering, manufacturing and machine sales positions, according to the release.

The company has been fully acquired by Costruzioni Meccaniche Besana S.p.A., as announced by Umberto Fassi, president, during Vitrum 2013 in Milan, according to the release.
