Saint-Gobain Adds Production Line to Romania Factory

Saint-Gobain invested EUR 6 million in a new laminated glass production line in its Romanian factory, according to a Romania-Insider report. About 20 percent of the new laminated glass will go to non-residential projects including commercial and office design.The factory currently employs 540 people and produces 21 million square meters of glass a year. The new production line’s capacity is 2 million square meters a year and will create an additional 35 jobs, according to the report.
