Boosted by demand for energy-efficient building, output of low-emissivity glass in China increased by 33.3 percent in 2012, according to the Research and Markets Global and Chinese Low-E Glass Industry Report, 2013-2016 report. In 2012, more than 20 new low-E production lines came online, and a large number of low-E lines are expected to begin operating in 2013 and 2014, according to the report.
