Global Specialty Gases completed construction of its 12,000-square-foot specialty gases fill plant in Bethlehem, Pa, and has already begun shipping internationally, according to a Sept. 4 press release. The facility, Global Gases’ first location in the United States, is equipped with state-of-the-art filling, blending and analytical equipment, and utilizes Global Specialty Gases’ proprietary Global Guard cylinder prep process. The company produces and distributes gas products and equipment for a range of industries, including the window industry.“We’re excited to have a fully functioning plant that is getting product out the door to customers, and we’re very pleased to be seeing increased interest and quotation activity,” said Phil Kornbluth, senior VP for the Global Gases Group, in the release. The Bethlehem facility is staffed by a team of highly experienced specialty gases experts who have had long careers with Spectra Gases, formerly an independent specialty gases supplier and a company well known for its customer-focused DNA, according to the release.
