DORMA USA Acquires Door Controls Inc.

DORMA USA Inc. has acquiredDoor Controls Inc., said to be one of the largest independent automatic door distributors in the United States. With the acquisition, DORMA will be able to provide its customers with enhanced product solutions and services in the Midwest, it reports.

“The door industry continues to provide us with a strong platform and one in which we want to accelerate our capabilities to provide our customers innovative door technology and premium access solutions and services,” said Wil VandeWiel, DORMA AME AREA president, in a release. Reed Buettner, CEO of Door Controls, added, “The combination of Door Controls, Inc. and DORMA provides an excellent strategic and cultural fit. We are thrilled to join the DORMA Group.”
